Standing at a corner gives you a good view of the entire building. It allows you to take photos a wide-angle hence large area and more details captured. It is essential to alternate the position by taking photos from different corners. This will enable you to get a variety of photos that you will compare to select the ones that will fit the purpose.

The type and intensity of light have a significant role in the quality of the photo shot. The light should be of proper intensity, not too bright or too dim. Taking photos under the normal sunlight is good. The windows and doors should be open to allow enough light into the building. However, when an ordinary light is not available, artificial lighting can be used, however with consideration.

Holding the camera by hand has a disadvantage due to the constant shaking which jeopardizes the quality of the snapshots.

It is ideal to photograph things from a high level especially if the items have a bigger height. This requires the photographer to be positioned on either a staircase or a ladder to get a good view of the things. However, the invention of drone photographing has made aerial photographing easy and convenient. Just by the click of a button, one can take photos from any given height.

The quality and properties of the equipment will determine the type and quality of the photograph. The camera should have a high resolution and fisheye or ultra-wide angle lenses that allow the capture of a wider area. The camera should also have a panoramic ability. Besides, you should have proper software such as Hugin, which will aid in stitching the panoramic shots.
